Help us Color the Park to Support Local Students in Need

Mark your calendar for the 10th annual Color the Park School Supplies Drive! Starting July 18, we will collect school supplies and monetary donations to provide essential learning tools for local students in need. In honor of the campaign’s 10-year anniversary, we are providing several ways to give back, including a Social Hour Celebration on the last day of the drive, Tuesday, August 1. Here's a list of all the ways you can support the cause:

Make a Monetary or Physical Donation
Drop new school supplies in the building lobby or make a greater impact by making an online donation with code "Color the Park Ballantyne."

Order Lunch through Foodsby
Enjoy the lunch delivery program and Foodsby will donate $1 for every meal ordered through August 1.

Flashcard Formation Volunteer Project
Stop by Sara's YMCA on Wednesday, July 19 between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to create packs of flashcards for local children in need.

Sunrise Yoga
Donate $5 and enjoy an outdoor yoga class at Knotts Green on Thursday, July 20 from 6:30-7:30 a.m.

Social Hour Celebration
Celebrate the Ballantyne community's efforts for the cause with mingling, local brews, wine, live music and more on August 1 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Brixham Tent. Bring any last physical or monetary donations!

Color the Park benefits Classroom Central, an organization that collects and distributes free school supplies so that students living in poverty can learn effectively. With more than 50% of our region’s students living in poverty, your donations play a major role in preparing children to be successful in the upcoming school year.

Share your photos and participation by tagging us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and using #BCPColorThePark.
