Northwood Office Welcomes John Barton as President

We are pleased to share that John Barton has joined Northwood Office as president. He joins us with 23 years of experience in commercial real estate as a principal, intermediary, lender and lawyer. Most recently, John served as managing director and co-head of HFF’s Office Investment Advisory Group in Atlanta, where he handled sales of office buildings in the Southeast. Before joining HFF, John served as senior vice president and managing director of Parkway Properties, where he was responsible for the company’s Atlanta and Philadelphia markets. During his 16-year career at Parkway, he was directly involved in all aspects of asset management, including leasing, operations and joint ventures in multiple Sunbelt and Mid-Atlantic markets.

The Charlotte Chamber of Commerce hosted its Health Care Summit on April 4 to take a deeper look into the current and future state of healthcare. Linda Lemmons, director of sales at Courtyard Charlotte Ballantyne, attended a panel at the summit focused on the Business of Transformational Leadership comprised of local CEOs including Novant Health's Carl Armato, Premier Inc.'s Susan Devore and Atrium Health's Gene Woods and moderated by Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles. Linda shared some of her takeaways from the panel that provide valuable tips for employees across all service industries. Northwood Completes Another Stream Clean in Ballantyne
