RE: Dave Figgins

Dave Figgins

I am pleased to share that David “Dave” Figgins II has joined Northwood Office’s development team as construction/project manager. With nearly ten years of experience in the construction and development industry, Dave brings strong leadership and project management skills to the role.

As construction/project manager, Dave will assist on all construction and development-related projects in the Boston market. Projects include interior construction projects, redevelopment of current assets and new ground-up construction projects, as well as working with our current development partners on managing everyday development responsibilities on all Northwood assets. He is based in Boston.

Most recently, Dave was a project engineer at Turner Construction Company. In this role, he led engineers through the planning and fabrication phases of all construction trades on the Pier 4 Office Building Project in downtown Boston. Dave also served as superintendent and engineer for the 888 Bolyston Project, a 19-story, mixed-use development property in downtown Boston.

Before that, Dave was a senior cost engineer supporting 80+ projects in the New England Region. Earlier in his career with Turner, Dave worked as an estimator and field engineer.

Originally from Pittsburgh (and raised properly as a Steelers fan), Dave earned a degree in civil and environmental engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. Dave is a LEED Green Associate.

In his free time, Dave enjoys anything outdoors, especially hiking, camping, rock climbing, rowing and skiing. His bucket list items include visiting all the national parks, as well as ascending the tallest peak in each of the 50 states (completed 17 so far!). He also loves photography.

Dave will be visiting our Charlotte office this week, and please join me in extending a warm welcome to him!
