Northwood Donates Used Cell Phones to Operation Gratitude

Earlier this month, Northwood collected several used cell phones from our New York, Denver, and LA offices and donated them to Operation Gratitude via This organization recycles your used cell phones, and takes the fair market value of the phones to make a charitable donation to Operation Gratitude to create and send care packages for troops that contain food, toiletries, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation.

Every year, Operation Gratitude’s volunteers send over 250,000 individually addressed care packages to U.S. Troops deployed overseas, to their children at home, to First Responders, New Recruits, Veterans, Wounded Heroes and their Care Givers. Of our 27 donated cell phones, all were accepted and the value of those phones contributed significantly to Operation Gratitude.

Thank you to all who helped make our contribution to Operation Gratitude a success!
